Government Enhanced-Soldier Program

The Vertex Program is a highly classified government initiative designed to transform the nation's most elite soldiers into super soldiers capable of operating far beyond the limits of peak human performance. Using a refined application of Lucidian particles, the Vertex Serum grants subjects enhanced strength, speed, and agility, making them some of the most physically capable soldiers ever created.

Unlike other Lucidian-based serums, the Vertex Serum carries no risk of death when administered. However, Lucidian is extremely rare and available only in limited quantities, preventing the government from creating a large army of Vertex soldiers. As a result, only a select few of the military's most exceptional soldiers are chosen to undergo the program, making membership in the Vertex Program one of the highest honors within the armed forces.
