🎀 Versecon Just Added Ribbon Trading — Here’s What That Means for Attendees

Versecon just announced an exciting new addition to this year’s convention experience: ribbon trading! 🎉 If you’ve been to other fan conventions outside of northern california, you may already know how fun (and addictive) this tradition can be — and now it’s officially coming to Versecon.

What Is Ribbon Trading?

Ribbon trading is a social convention activity where attendees collect and exchange adhesive badge ribbons. These ribbons usually have fun sayings, fandom references, inside jokes, or custom designs. People stack them on the bottom of their convention badge, creating a colorful trail of memories and interactions throughout the weekend.

Attendees are encouraged to:

• Design and bring their own ribbons to trade

• Exchange ribbons with other fans you meet during the con

• Collect ribbons as souvenirs from different people, groups, or moments
