Two Panels Down. One More To Go.

The first two days of San Diego Comic-Con have been an incredible experience.

The Writer & Creator of impound comics, Brent Trayce Sands had the opportunity to speak on both the Short Form Content panel and Breaking Into Comics Without a Publisher, sharing the lessons he’s learned while building Impound Comics from the ground up.

Across both sessions, the conversations went beyond theory. They focused on the real challenges of creating independently, growing an audience, producing consistent content, and finding ways to turn passion into a lasting career. It was inspiring to see so many creators in the audience taking notes, asking thoughtful questions, and sharing their own journeys.

One of the best parts of SDCC has been connecting with people after each panel. From aspiring comic creators and writers to longtime fans of independent comics, every conversation has been a reminder of how much talent and creativity exists within this community.

While the first two panels are behind us, there’s still one more opportunity to join the conversation.

Building a Universe

📅 Sunday, July 26

🕛 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

📍 Room 11

Brent will be joined by Kyle Higgins (Radiant Black), Brandon Gingell (Hybrid), and Ray-Anthony Height (Midnight Tiger) to discuss what it takes to create characters, develop worlds, and build stories that continue to grow beyond a single issue.

Thank you to everyone who has attended the panels so far and shown support throughout the weekend. We appreciate every question, every conversation, and every person who’s stopped by to be part of the journey.

See you Sunday for the final panel! 💚📚
