As Impound continues to grow, our goals are getting bigger, our reach is expanding, and we’re stepping into opportunities we once could only imagine. But there’s one thing we never want to lose along the way: where we came from.

We’re an independent company. We understand what it means to create something from nothing, invest in your own vision, set up at conventions, promote your work, build an audience one person at a time, and keep going even when there’s no guarantee of success.

That’s why no matter how big Impound becomes, we will continue supporting other independent creators.

We’ll keep buying indie comics. We’ll keep sharing projects we believe in. We’ll keep connecting with creators at conventions, giving people opportunities when we can, and showing love to those putting everything they have into their ideas.

Success doesn’t have to mean leaving the indie community behind.

For us, it means being in a better position to help bring more people with us.

There are too many incredible writers, artists, filmmakers, animators, designers, and creators out there building something special for independent creativity to be treated like a stepping stone.

Indie is part of our foundation.

Whether Impound reaches thousands of people or millions, that part of us isn’t changing.
