Meet Holkan: The Main Villain of the Blasted Series

The Blasted series has officially unveiled one of its biggest threats yet. Meet Holkan, the main villain standing in the path of the God of Ink.

The name Holkan, pronounced “HOHL-kahn,” comes from a Mayan word for warrior or soldier, and that meaning plays directly into who this character is. Stemming from the God of War, Holkan was created to be a dangerous opponent capable of pushing Blasted in ways we haven’t seen before.

Holkan possesses the ability to materialize weapons of war, giving him an arsenal that can change depending on the battle in front of him. Add super strength and acid blood to the mix, and you have a villain who isn’t exactly somebody you want to fight up close.

But powers are only part of what makes a great villain.

As the Blasted story continues, readers will begin to learn more about Holkan, his connection to the larger story, and why his path ultimately puts him against Giovanni Grimes who you know as Blasted, the God of Ink.

We’ve been building toward revealing more of the characters surrounding Blasted, and Holkan represents another major piece of that world. There’s much more to his story than what we’re revealing today, so consider this your first introduction.
