Giovanni Grimes, better known as Blasted, is one of the most unique characters in the Impound Universe. Born in Stockton, California, Giovanni is the son of a human mother and Acat, the Mayan deity of tattooing and writing. His divine heritage gives him the ability to manipulate ink through a power known as Melanokinesis.

At just 19 years old, Giovanni is balancing college, working as a DJ, and learning what it truly means to carry divine power. He's also trained in Kali Warrior techniques, combining his martial-arts skills with his supernatural abilities.

Blasted can control, shape, and weaponize ink, turning it into powerful constructs and weapons. His abilities give him an incredibly versatile fighting style—and he's still discovering the full limits of what he can do.

But being a demigod isn't exactly easy.

Giovanni is caught between the world of humans and the expectations of the Mayan gods. As he searches for his purpose, he must figure out how to control his abilities while deciding what kind of hero he wants to become.
