5 Years Ago Today

Five years ago today, Impound Issue #1 was released — marking the official beginning of the Impound Universe. What started as a dream and a few sketches has grown into a thriving comic book world filled with heroes, villains, and stories that represent a culture rarely seen in the superhero space.

From that first issue, readers met Impound, the street hero from Sacramento. His journey set the tone for everything that came after — expanding into new characters, and storylines.

What began as one book has evolved into a full universe, a community, and a movement. We’re proud of how far Impound Comics has come, and even more excited for what’s next.
